Lack of attention from 1Password team in this repo #557
Description
Currently there are 73 open PRs waiting to be merged or reviewed. The last time a shell plugin was released was 5 months ago: #515 (Scaleway). Issues like #378 have been open since 2023, with a workaround that stopped working at some point. A possible fix for the issue has been open since late August with no attention. This PR has had its submitter coming back in looking for updates to the PR nearly two or three times a month. And issues have been opened asking if the project is dead, with a 1Password employee posting two months ago that internal discussions are happening, with no update since.
The Contributing to 1Password Shell Plugins page is still showing as beta with no updates in over two years.
Commits/reviews have no cadence to them.
With additions to the repo falling off sharply less than a year after the repo was created.
How can we help get this project back into a healthy state?
