Hiring Steroid in UB causes game to bug

When you hire steroid in UB the game starts doing weird shit. e.g. the interuption text that pops up when jerry crushes your laptop keeps popping up and you can no longer access merc contracts in strategic view. if you kill him and remove him, the issue persists and doesn't go away

although it seems if you save/load after you kill him and remove merc then game goes back to normal

Can't seem to replicate this either. Is this on default UB or with your big maps addon?

Its on default UB. I just tried it on a fresh install too. Hire him, start the game then go into strategic and click on the contract button. and as you play the game that interruption text keeps coming up too
