Transmutation Module tends to lose owner information on server reset

This has been a pretty consistent issue. when you attach a transmutation module it shows the placers name. On reboot of the server it reverts to no owner. in game it just doesn't show Owner.
Side effects are the emc crafting or exports into emc doesn't work without an owner.

Fix is to remove and replace the module then it retags owner correctly.

This may be a duplicate of #12 and sounds like it could be an upstream AE2 bug. I'll find some time later tonight to consult with the team there.

It could be, I created this as its repeatable. If you think it's Ae2 related what items can I test out that might also have this issue? So far it's the only disconnecting item I have found.

I can't think of anything else that can be used to test this, since nothing else really relies on node ownership the way that AppliedE devices do.

So first time ever after upgrading to the 13.3 version the server restarted and kept the owner info. Will follow up if that changes in the future.

I am having the same issue. I play on a public server, here is some info on it:

Issue:

Every time the server restarts, my "ME Transmutation Module" loses owner information. This results in me needing to remove then replace the module on the network for it to function again. When mousing over the module in game, it shows that it is online but is missing owner information. This happens both if:

• My module is the only module on that specific AE network.
• There are multiple players with a single module each on the network.
  • In the case of multiple players modules on the network, mine is the only one that loses ownership. The other players modules are not losing ownership.

Please let me know what information / Logs / Test that you need or would like to be run that I can get you, whether they are client side or server side, either way is doable. Also I can get a region download that the base is in for you to load if that would help, or you can come onto the server and see for yourself?

A thought..... Could you set it up so that the ownership is inherited from the name of the item if the name of said item is not the default name for that item? So, I could rename the item in an anvil, and on network bootup it assigns ownership to the player's name that matches the name of the renamed item, of if that item has the default name, then ownership goes to the player that placed it?

My other thought was adding in the ability to place an item tag i one of the upgrade slots and assigning ownership to the players name on the item tag.

Annoyingly, this seems to continue being a problem in 21.1 versions of AE2 and AppliedE, as per #32. Will need to re-investigate.

@I-Want-Ninja If you happen to be playing on an MP server of your own, would you be able to provide a download for the world currently on that server in the event that the Module loses its owner information again (without replacing the Module beforehand)?

hello in my case the chunk where the transmutation module was pluged into the system got corrupted if i move the modul to another chunk it works just fine i am trying rn to fix the chunk and see if that helps creating a new world also fixed it for me dont know if that is the case for every one could be the issue that it corrupts the chunk it is in bcs of a error

Edit: i deleted the chunk replaced it and pasted my Base In the new chunk still bugged either i did smthing wrong or world gen isnt on my side

alright i found the issue ... i had a blaze rod/powder dupe farm "emc Farm" that needs a mk1 emc chest to overflow with blaze rods and blaze powder, nd this chest was the issue.. i removed the chest and it worked i guess too many emc items in one chest is no good or smthn like that, and having create .. if one of those is in the same chunk as the module it will reset every time

( IT ONLY DOES IT WHEN U HAVE "CREATE" , "SOUL FIRE" , "DUPE FARM" or similar AND "THE MODULE" ( IN THE SAME CHUNCK )) "maybe soul sand too 10% chance dont wana test it and jinx my progress tbh"

for me it also broke the transmutation interface so just dont build anything near that module or AppledE in general hope this is the actuall "fix" to most of the reports
