The ApolloScape dataset license is for academic use only, but how about third-party models that were trained on the ApolloScape dataset but are released under licenses that allow commercial use? Specifically, the MiDaS monocular depth-estimation model is available under the MIT license, which allows commercial use, but the ApolloScape Stereo dataset was one of 12 datasets used to train it, according to the info on its home page.
Would this result in any legal impediment to the use of the MiDaS model for commercial purposes (the trained model itself, not the ApolloScape dataset)?
(Sorry if this is a FAQ. I searched the issues and couldn't find an answer.)
