I've had kernel builds fail for other reasons and in that case I simply ignored the kernel build altogether and simply added the old 4.14 kernel from a valid image onto the new image.

Is this trying to built 4.14 ?

Should I use another host for build the bela-image in the bookworm-2025 branch?

I didn't make any major changes to the bookworm-2025 branch, just a few minor changes to the download.sh script

Yes, it seems that it is trying to build 4.14 because the branch of ./downloads/ti-linux-kernel-dev/ is ti-linux-xenomai-4.14.y

Cross compiling should work fine. It uses qemu to emulate armv7 in the chroot.

I have made some progress trying to generate a bela image using debian bookworm.

Now I am getting the error:

libraries/Scope/Scope.h:2:10: fatal error: 'ne10/NE10_types.h' file not found

And I wouldn't know how to fix it.

Would it be possible for you to post a bela alpha image using debian Bookworm?

We are interested in integrating voicemod technology on a bela board and we need to use more modern versions of clang, cmake, ... than the ones used by debian bullseye or strech.

You'd need to install libne10-dev via apt-get or the package that comes with the Bela repo (https://github.com/BelaPlatform/Bela/tree/master/resources/stretch/deb).

I would expect someone trying to build a debian image that they'd know how to fix this type of trivial errors and I cannot guarantee extensive support for your effort, so you may have to figure out some of these things for yourself in the future, unless you are interested in our consultancy services (email info@bela.io in that case)
