A first implementation was added in 2a86f62f6d4159b2524c2f753bdffb9f866ad7af, and has since been a bit improved.

Now the plan is the following:

  1. use MorphIO by default and use the internal loader when MorphIO fails (and emit a warning in this case).
  2. if possible, improve MorphIO as described in Add a flag to disable some checks MorphIO#427 in order to reduce the probability of using the internal loader.
