File explorer should default to opening the path that vcdat was run from

Currently, the file explorer always opens to /Users/current_user

If a user navigates to /Volumes/folder/data and then runs vcdat, the file explorer should attempt to default to that directory, falling back to /User/current_user if there is an error.
