DEV and Mossy: Tree view goes wonky of tree layout changed

when I start with tree view, it shows the traditional layout with nodes colored as in the 2D network. When I change to circular, it jumps to a corner, and loses node colors too.

Needs to reapply same formating/styling after layout change. Goes back to default.

The tree should retain its formatting when the layout is changed. If it reverts to the default and requires the user to reapply formatting and styling, it discourages its use.
