The CCSS operates similarly to a non-profit corporation in many ways. Formal incorporation may be beneficial or even expected. Additionally, we may have tax obligations we are unaware of or not currently addressing.

Investigate the logistics of incorporating the CCSS as a non-profit organization and determine whether we are required to file or pay taxes. Document:

• Steps to incorporate
• What would need to be done on a yearly basis if we incorporate
• Pros and cons of incorporation
• Whether we need to file/pay taxes, how much, and what the annual process would involve
• Estimated timelines for any of the above
