My CodenameEngine exe file is not opening in my pc

Please check first if your issue haven't already been reported yet.

This is my first report

It may seem fake but I swear it's true, it never goes away from the black screen

there is barely any detail in this bug report, can you tell us more?

like did you compile the engine? Did you download from the website? etc.

i download from the website, about the queston to compile-...i dont understand so much of this.

Try using the terminal to open up the CodenameEngine.exe, so we can see trace logs and errors

how can i make this?-(sorry, i dont have so much experience in modding)

Open up your command prompt and go to the path of your CodenameEngine installation (or right click in file explorer and open in terminal)

then just type start CodenameEngine.exe or ./CodenameEngine.exe and you will see logs here

i recomend you use the translator, my pc language is in portuguese(Brazil)

You aren't even running the game since it failed to find CodenameEngine.exe, are you sure you have the right path to your CodenameEngine?

This pc/ Local Disc(C:)/User/Desktop/sei la man V2/Friday Night Fixxin' V2 (i didn't already realeased the first one and i'm trying to make a second, wtf-)

Well you need to path in the terminal to actually open the exe.

you could also type cmd in this area up here

You are need to move the folder out of the user folder because it contains special characters which the current version of lime we use doesn’t support

Your user folder name is an issue which you can’t rename so maybe it it at the root of your C: drive or use an other drive
