About Copper Launcher

+

Origins

+

Copper Launcher is a fork of Amethyst, which itself is a continuation of PojavLauncher โ€” one of the most well-known open source Minecraft: Java Edition launchers for Android.

+

The goal of Copper Launcher is to polish and extend what came before: better performance, improved mod support, a fresh theme, and a more welcoming community experience.

+

Why "Copper"?

+

Copper is a material that ages, evolves, and oxidizes over time โ€” much like this project. It starts raw and gets refined.

+

Our Values

+ +

Acknowledgements

+

Copper Launcher would not exist without the PojavLauncher Team and the AngelAuraMC / Amethyst team, as well as every contributor, translator, tester, and community member.

  7. Tap Install and wait for it to complete.
  8. +
+

Fabric

+
    +
  1. Tap the version selector.
  2. +
  3. Tap Fabric.
  4. +
  5. Select your desired Minecraft + Fabric Loader version.
  6. +
  7. Tap Install.
  8. +
+

For Fabric, also install Fabric API โ€” most mods require it.

+

Step 2 โ€” Add Mods

+

Once a mod loader is installed, mods go in the mods folder inside your Minecraft directory.

+

From the launcher, tap Folder icon โ†’ Game Directory, then open the mods folder. Download mods from Modrinth or CurseForge, then place the .jar file in the mods folder.

+

Only download mods from trusted sites. Unofficial mods may contain malware.

+

Troubleshooting Mods

+

Game crashes after adding a mod? Make sure the mod is compatible with your Minecraft version and all dependencies are installed. Remove recently added mods one at a time to find the culprit.

+

Mods not showing in-game? Confirm the .jar is in the correct mods folder and you launched the correct Forge/Fabric profile.
