Borrowing heavily from your source but using another FFT routine, I have written similar visualizer but in QB64 - the successor of QuickBASIC.
It is called e-pi-ALTES and its source and 32bit binary GUI are freely downloadable at:

Thanks. Although this code isn’t optimized because I first store all the data in memory and loop through the array. I believe threads are a must for better performance.
