Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Currently it is difficult to determine when there is a new change within CTMS, e.g. there is a new task that has been assigned to a user. The only way to check currently is to be aware of the before / after lists (and perform a comparison), or by a section leader notifying the user that they have a new task. This means tasks can sometimes be missed (particularly for large task inboxes), even when checking the CTMS list daily.
Describe the solution you'd like
1. Notification bell - Top blue bar (displayed on main CTMS home screen) - bell has a red circle on the top right of the icon when a new notification is available - e.g. a new task in the inbox, a new comment, impeded flag cleared etc. Clicking the bell brings up an expanded list specifically telling the user what is new/has changed - when the user clicks out of the menu the red circle clears.

2. Others can put in comments/change flag etc.
This would be useful to make the comments section more of a two-way conversation. Currently it feels like a one-way conversation with themselves - The user will put in a comment (e.g. task impeded because of X Y Z), then the LM will tell the user via another medium (in-person or Skype) that the issue is resolved and that they can now remove the impeded flag. If the initial user puts in a statement (e.g. work blocked), then the LM or other user should be able to comment on this, e.g. ask for more information on the problem in order to understand problem/resolve, or for the LM to put in a sentence to say issue resolved. The LM should also then be able to clear the impeded flag on the users behalf.
3. When a task is set to complete, automatically clear impeded flag.
Often the task will clear from the task inbox when completed (if task list is refreshed), so it is then not possible to clear the impeded flag in this scenario if the user has forgotten to unclear the flag. If a task is complete, impeded should never be set.
4. Booking Task search
When clicking 'Hours to Book' to find a task to book hours against, it is often difficult to quickly search for an exact SCA/SQN/SPR number - currently you have to go via the route of expanding each folder/subfolder for the software package. Proposing an idea whereby the user can search at the top for any text string or SCA numbers - this then filters the results based on this text.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Tried methods of communicating outside of CTMS (e.g. weekly team meeting), but this feels less efficient than having the dialogues within CTMS.
