Instead of just pulsing for 750ms upon entry as they do now. The pulse makes a lot of sense for block placement etc., but is rather unintuitive for entry/exit and makes a lot of things one would want to use the north lever for very difficult. Especially since there's not even an exit pulse, so you can't achieve this even with complicated handmade circuits.
The player movement listener is already listening anyway, so shouldn't really add much lag to do the reverse check of "was not in a zone now is" + "was in a zone now isn't"
Specifically, pseudocode: log in or walk in = lever turns to on state, log out or walk out AND nobody else relevant is in the zone now = lever turns off
