Popup window goes away after saving seed phrase

On step 2 I copy the seed, paste to text file. then click I saved. The popup then goes away.

Can you please right click -> inspect element and open the console tab so I can see the error that comes up. For me, I can't reproduce the issue. Thanks for the recording.

Strange. This time the window did not minimize, but after proceeding through step 2 it produced this popup

My guess is this has something to do with issue #8

Hey, thanks a lot for the input. I forgot to mention to right click on the extension popup, not on the background webpage. So that I can see the errors from the extension, not from the background empty tab. The extension sure has a manifest file but you won't see it in the inspect element / application tab.

So I would appreciate if you can record again with the console open but by right clicking the extension. Or just send me a screenshot with the error that will appear in console .

Sorry. Just seeing this now. I'm testing on a new computer. This one does not exhibit the same behavior. But I do see some ws connection errors.

I will need to run this test again on the other computer that had the problem (on monday). The computer with NO issues is a ubuntu 20.04. I believe the other is ubuntu 22. But I'm not 100% sure. Both computers are running on vmware.
