Description
Sophisticated Backpacks does what it says- adds backpacks, and upgrades for them, to increase inventory space among other things. Two of these upgrades, Pickup and Magnet, help to pick up items even from a distance, and sort them properly into the backpacks- depending on a variety of settings. An issue arises with Origins Classes insalled alongside Sophisticated Backpacks- this being, when items are placed inside a backpack, with both upgrades in use, magnetized items form in new stacks instead of sorting into the non-maxed-out stacks already within the backpack.
I admittedly went to Sophisticated Backpacks first- only to later pinpoint the error to Origins Classes, or perhaps a dependent library; which P3pp3rf1y (dev of SB) corroborated, though they said the error was not one they could work on directly- especially given there seems to be no difference in NBT between stacks before or after they are picked up. I was directed here, and I hope perhaps an explanation can be found, even if a fix is a distant or impossible prospect.
Steps to reproduce:
- Add Sophisticated Backpacks, Origins, and Origins Classes- as well as dependent libraries- to a new modpack.
- Create a world (creative and survival modes both have this error) and find a backpack, equipping it with Pickup and Magnet upgrades.
- Set both Pickup and Magnet upgrades to Match Backpack Contents.
- Place 1 of any stackable item into the backpack.
- Collect more of the item used in step 3, either throwing it from your inventory or finding it in the wild.
- Check the backpack, and note that there are two stacks where there should be one.
