How to make this work with Blackmagic ATEM?

This project has been designed and tested with both vMix and Wirecast. However the documentation mentions that this could also be used with an ATEM (which hasn't been tested). A link is provided to another project which has some Arduino code that acts as a gateway between an ATEM and a tally light system. That transmitter project could be used with these tally lights after some minor code changes, specifically the network packet transmission.

Any chance you could trim the code so this is a standalone ATEM bridge vs including Wirecast? I would but I have no way of testing the code.
