Chisel voucher kills my game's frames and/or sequence of events

Whenever I redeem Chisel and a chiseled card is on screen, everything either halts to a grinding 4-5 frames a second or it takes a full minute to play a hand, go to the main menu, discard, really anything. I've confirmed its with chisel but not the compat issue. My mods:

The current smods release has a bug that makes quantum enhancements incredibly laggy, there'll be a new release very soon that will fix this.
