Use OpenID4VP ver 1.0?

Since we decided on draft 28, OID4VP has reached 1.0 status.

As the mdoc format is not required for DIIPv4, the shift from draft 28 -> version 1.0 won't be a drastic change and would roughly only require making the meta parameter in a DCQL query required instead of optional.

Given the minimal changes required and the stability benefits, Impierce Technologies would be glad to have DIIP v4 updated to reference OID4VP 1.0. Any thoughts on this?

In our initial v1 implementation of OpenID4VP we will keep the meta as optional (since we also support older drafts). I think being flexible allows a wallet to support both draft 28 and v1, and is verifier just make sure to always include it, we will basically have v1 (without the need to modify the spec).

I agree with the approach of @TimoGlastra. The ship to adjust v4 has passed. We have also basically implement Final and then some small modification to allow for Draft 28
