Right now we are search the tail end of the cloudwatch logs every two minutes to capture delivery receipts. However, receipts will not come back after the 72 hour mark, so any notification that is still Pending after 72 hours should be marked as failed with Technical Failure as the reason. It would be nice to add some searchable debugging if possible also, because right now the logs are not showing why 9 messages are still pending in our latest load test.
