a key value of the inbox is to delay processing of a request. we need to have a dedicated sub field to be able to process authorization when inbox is being processed, as opposed to before it's saved to the inbox

Inbox is generic over an InboxEvent type - there is nothing stopping the client to add a subject field to that.
