Improve context of errors for fv-standalone

we should re-iterate over some most-common error reports and figure out if we can improve the context for them to make it easier for support/qa/debugging purposes to figure out whats happening

• look into and determine if fv-standalone could use error feedback improvements

1. could a UI error message be improved?
2. could the error logged to sentry be improved?
