Add note

• User clicks the + button for the dropdown of colored notes to add
  • Click out of dropdown to hide
  • Click + once drop down is open to close
  • Click a circle to close drop down
• User clicks a colored circle and a popup with entry fields appear
  • One for title and one for excerpt
  • Button for Save and Button for Cancel
• User inputs fields then hits save and a note card with that data appears on the main page

Should I add the title field back again and we can add it into frontmatter on save?

Also I was thinking it may be good to put the color picker on the add/edit page itself so the user can change the color if they like without having to start a new note. I'm working on theming the editor to the current note color and this would also make passing the data simpler.

Hear me out: button to switch between in-text frontmatter and input fields for title, color, excerpt etc?

so an input field form above the add page that will add it to frontmatter? maybe show the data on the live preview?

or a form that will add the data to the top of the text area on submit

We can send it on submit as a Note or as a single string, it doesn't matter much we just have to decide which way we go.
These wouldn't show up on the live preview, one thing we have to pay attention to is to remove the yaml part if we have the in-text frontmatter.
