Continue developement, please! No windows pre-built binary for easy installation

in your 5.1.2 release, you said "Windows users: the next release should include a pre-built Windows binary. In the meantime, you should be able to run the project from source code on Windows by following the README instructions."

I am having many difficulties with following the README instructions and wanted to know if you could continue development on this project.

I realize that you said this project will not be maintained anymore, but I sincerely hope that the codebase can be fixed and maintained for both Windows and Mac!
