Question: Refinement of solid region for twophase interface possible?

I'm looking at bubble growth with conjugate heating and am refining around the liquid-vapour interface, I'm wondering if it's also possible to refine the cells in the solid region adjacent to the liquid-vapour interface? ie refining the solid at the contact point so that the heat transfer from solid to fluid may be better captured?
