With the release of your next-generation models, you could open source previous models with lower performance, like T-rex, similar to OpenAI's GPT-2. Since most of your models are closed source, the lack of transparency and community involvement can limit innovation and increase user dependency, which may also cause dissatisfaction.

We fully understand your needs; however, we currently have no plans to open-source such smaller models. There are a few main reasons for this. First, our models still have some shortcomings, and we need to focus our computational resources on addressing these issues. Second, as a startup team, we are actively exploring commercial opportunities for our DINO-X model, and open-sourcing the model could potentially affect these efforts to some extent. Third, it is challenging to define and guarantee the performance of an open-sourced model. If the model's capabilities are insufficient, it could negatively impact the user experience within the community.

We hope you can understand our plans, and we will do our best to balance commercialization with the user experience of the community.
