Feature description

When I use Geto in my phone (android14 MIUI/HyperOS1), There are some different with AOSP, cause if I remove app from recent programs list, it will be killed by OS, like ClashForAndroid(vpn client) and GKD(automation tool to close ad), I won't see a service program standing in recent list, but it has an icon in control panel, so I just click it then it works, want Geto add an icon to switch service if sometimes app killed by OS.

Add desktop shotcut is failed when running on MIUI (with shotcut permission), I think it may need special handling.

Also I change battery setting for Geto from auto to no restrictions, but it no help when remove from recent list.

About notification to keep program active, I don't know why but in GKD, when I swiped it notification out, app still active, maybe Geto also can do this but be killed by removed from recent list..

Use Case

in control panel one click to switch service by Geto

Benefits

Everytimes I need open target apps I need open Geto, service, enable it if Geto closed. If has an icon in control panel, manually opening faster, or maybe can without notification keep active?

Thanks for notifying me this. These Chinese ROMS are kinda annoying to us. There is a beautiful website Don't Kill My App that can guide you.

Keeping active is easy, like turning battery setting, and lock app in the recent list (MIUI or 3rd OS only have this operation). But, just for my habits, I often remove apps from the recent list and keep it clear (then OS will kill their app), so I need a shortcut in control panel to quickly switch Geto service without open Geto's activity window and show it in recent list 😂
