Feature description
Enables you to change the version of Android on your phone detected by an app.
Eg. If you're on Android 14, you can make an app think you're on android 12.
Use Case
I have an older phone that I'm using as a secondary device, and controlling it from PC with scrcpy on local network.
I have it on android 11, which means there is no SECURE_FLAG feature, and that lets me mirror all screens in all apps, including those with restrictions netflix & webtoon
This feature would enable to launch apps that have stopped supporting older android versions.
I'm well aware they may not run with full functionality but that's not an issue. I don't mind apps crashing but I don't like me not being able to install and launch them at all.
Benefits
Enables partial usage of older versions of apps
Bypasses restrictions placed by apps themselves from installing & launching in older versions
