Deploying on a real production server

Production deployment at ThatDevPro:

# 1. Copy files to nginx host
scp -r seo-sidecar/ <YOUR_SERVER>:/tmp/seo-sidecar/

# 2. SSH in and run the deploy script
ssh <YOUR_SERVER>
cd /tmp/seo-sidecar
sudo bash deploy-sidecar.sh

# 3. Set production auth token in the systemd unit
sudo systemctl edit seo-sidecar
# Add: Environment="SEO_AUTH_TOKEN=<your-rotation-token>"
sudo systemctl restart seo-sidecar

# 4. Add nginx include to each server block
include /etc/nginx/snippets/seo-inject.conf;
nginx -t && systemctl reload nginx

# 5. Push a test schema
python megamind_push.py push <site-name>

# 6. Verify
curl https://your-site.com/ | grep -A2 'application/ld+json'

Total time: 15 minutes for first deploy, < 1 minute to add subsequent sites.

What can break: if SSI is disabled in nginx (compile-time option --without-http_ssi_module), the include silently does nothing. Verify with nginx -V 2>&1 | grep ssi.
