Opinions and ratings

Hey, we need to decide

• how the opinions and ratings user story look like,
• what endpoints are required,
• how are we going to store the opinions: what should be in the sql db schema, what are the fields that need to be added to products in mongodb etc.,

so I created this place for these purposes.

Right now from UI side exisitng opinion can be:

• reported
• liked
• disliked

We set ourselves a requirement that empty reviews ("ratings") cannot be reported. The most convenient solution when trying to report an empty review would be to:

• not return any errors,
• change nothing in the database (not create a new report),

and make sure on the frontend side that the user doesn't have an option to report an empty review. Do you agree or have any alternatives?

I do not agree. We should inform the client that their request is wrong with some 40x error.
