Is it possible to change the serial port of the ESP8266 for a virtual serial port made with the SoftwareSerial.h library?

Hi, sorry for the super delayed response. 😅
Unfortunately, there is no configurable serial port in my code but you could feel free to modify and try it out. But I suspect the SoftwareSerial port would be unstable to work in 115200 baudrate.
