The High Resolution Vegetation Phenology and Productivity (HR-VPP) is a reference satellite-based data product providing the following data:
- Four different daily raw Vegetation Indices (VI);
- Seasonal Trajectories (ST), showing vegetation status every 10 days (with filled gaps in the observations due to clouds or other disturbances); and
- Vegetation Phenological and Productivity parameters (VPP), providing yearly metrics (e.g. start or end of the growing season, season length, seasonal productivity, etc.) for up to two growing seasons.
These layers are provided with 10 x 10m resolution, in UTM/WGS84 projection corresponding to the Sentinel-2 tiling grid, for those tiles that cover the EEA38 countries and the United Kingdom and for the period from 2017 until today, with yearly updates.
The product is available through the Destination Earth Data Lake and accessible through STAC.
