Pasting an image places it at the end of the text box rather than at the cursor location

Summary

If you paste an image, the Markdown for the image gets placed at the very end of the text box regardless of where the cursor was located in the text box at the moment of pasting.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Have some text in the text box.
2. Place the cursor somewhere in the textbox
3. paste an image into the text box
4. observe that the Markdown for the image is placed at the end of the textbox rather than at the cursor location.
