Thanks for you kind words. I felt much the same way after playing Half Life Alyx. While I knew I could never match that level of quality, the glimpse it showed me of what VR could be was a strong motivator to put as much polish into this mod as I could and not to take the easy route with things like AER or head-aiming. |

I’m pretty new to PC VR. Before this, the only VR I’d really played were the native Resident Evil titles on PSVR1 and PSVR2. After getting the PC adapter, I jumped into Half‑Life Alyx and the problem was that everything else felt disappointing by comparison. I got burned out and pretty demotivated trying most VR mods.
Then I stumbled across this. There’s barely any coverage on YouTube in comparison, but hey, it’s Halo, so I figured I’d give it a shot—even if it meant digging out my old disc. And now? This and Half‑Life Alyx are basically the only things I play.
What blows my mind is how clean it looks. No weird graphical artifacts like the Luke Ross R.E.A.L. VR mods. It even runs smoother than some first‑party VR games like Metro Awakening. I genuinely don’t understand how that’s possible.
Thank you so much for finishing this. I can’t even imagine how much work it must have been.
