Add an online translation service

as this is an app with probaply a lot of code illiterate users it could be useful to use an easy to use online service and make a link to the online tool in the app itself like this project did: https://github.com/Ph1b/MaterialAudiobookPlayer

It's a good idea, but it seems like the company they went with charges $9 a month. I am not charging for the app, and cannot afford to pay for this. I will keep a look out for something similar that is free perhaps

its something of both: according to wikipedia( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transifex ) it was free
for open source projects it is still a free service

I don't like Transifex so much beacause there is a pretty high barrier to contribute some translations to projects. You have to create an account and send a request to be a "member" of the translation team there to be able to contribute anything. With services like weblate.org (which are by contrast freely licensed) it is possible to propose something without a need to sign up anywhere.

There exists a few translation services:

• https://hosted.weblate.org/ from creator of the Weblate online platform that itself is FOSS. It has pre-moderation for FOSS projects. It doesn't offer free automatic translations, only the LibreTranslate that almost not working. But you can buy and integrate own API key to Google Translate, Yandex, DeepL, Baidu, etc. It will periodically send translations as a PR on the GitHub.
• https://translate.codeberg.org/ also based on Weblate, doesn't have a pre-moderation which is a plus. It can't send a PR on GitHub because they are competitors.
• https://toolate.othing.xyz/ based on Weblate, no pre-moderation, can send a PR, has automatic translations from Baidu that gives good results. It's supported by F-Droid translators and hosted in Singapore.
• Crowdin.com has pre-moderation for FOSS, has a better UI.
• Transifex, Lokalize.com, PoEditor.com maybe some other may be also good but less often used.

I created a translation project for you on the Toolate https://toolate.othing.xyz/projects/logical-defence/.
You can translate the Android app string (only app_name) and the app's description in F-Droid and PlayStore.
Once a day it will collect all translations into one commit and send in a PR like this #82. You may merge the PR once before a release, or even pull the changes manually from the git.

If you are ok with the solution then I'll send you a PR to add the Toolate link to the README to help users to find it. Also if you are interested I can send you an invitation to become an admin of the translation project (needed sometimes to resolve merge conflicts).

Currently I locked translation to avoid merge conflicts until the #81 merged.

But I was not able to add the main app strings from the https://github.com/LukeStonehm/LogicalDefence/blob/master/lib/shared/app_translations.dart because such a Dart files aren't supported by the Weblate.
Could you please change it to a plain JSON files, separate for each language?
