Magmastream Code of Conduct

Introduction

We are committed to providing a friendly, safe, and welcoming environment for all contributors and users participating in the Magmastream community, regardless of their level of experience, background, or identity. This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for behavior and sets the standards for a positive and inclusive community.

Our Values

  1. Respect: Treat everyone with respect, kindness, and empathy. Be considerate of different perspectives and experiences.
  2. Inclusivity: Foster an inclusive environment where all individuals feel welcome, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other personal attribute.
  3. Collaboration: Encourage a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. Value teamwork and cooperation.
  4. Open Communication: Strive for open and constructive communication. Be receptive to feedback and ideas from others.

Expected Behavior

We expect all participants in the Magmastream community to:

  • Be respectful and inclusive towards others.
  • Use welcoming and inclusive language.
  • Be considerate of different opinions, experiences, and backgrounds.
  • Accept constructive criticism and provide feedback in a constructive manner.
  • Be open to learning from others and sharing knowledge.
  • Be mindful of the impact of your words and actions on others.
  • Be supportive and considerate in your interactions.

Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors are considered unacceptable within the Magmastream community:

  • Harassment, discrimination, or offensive behavior based on race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other personal attribute.
  • Trolling, insulting or derogatory comments, personal attacks, or any form of disruptive behavior that hinders productive discussions.
  • Spamming, advertising, or self-promotion without prior approval.
  • Any form of unethical or dishonest behavior.
  • Any behavior that violates or encourages others to violate applicable laws or regulations.

Reporting Issues

If you experience or witness any behavior that violates the Code of Conduct, please report it promptly to the project maintainers. You can contact us via our discord server. All reports will be kept confidential, and appropriate actions will be taken to address the issue.

Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior

Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated within the Magmastream community. Consequences for violating the Code of Conduct may include:

  • A private or public warning from the project maintainers.
  • Temporary or permanent exclusion from participating in community activities.
  • Temporary or permanent bans from the Magmastream project and associated resources.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all participants in the Magmastream community, including contributors, maintainers, and users, both online and offline. It also applies to all project-related platforms, such as GitHub repositories, issue trackers, forums, and community events.
