The ability to edit content directly within the app would be a fantastic addition. Being able to change posters, images, and metadata (titles, descriptions, information, etc.) would greatly improve library management
Proposed solution
A good approach could be adding a built-in metadata management system, similar to what Plex or Jellyfin provide, where users can override posters, artwork, and metadata directly from the UI.
This could rely on local metadata overrides rather than modifying source files, which would keep things clean and safe.
