Resize tests don't terminate.

Apparently any of the tests for resize don't terminate, I will have to see if the tests don't terminate because of excessive testload. But the problem is probably caused by an infinite loop of simple or complex kind in the resize code. If I can't find it maybe I can simplify the problem by reducing the code to allow resize, but not eleminate older kvs, and not do any copying between kvses.

Ideas, first do a code review, then possible step by step debugging, then also add some more assertions, there are several assetions that I meant to add for a while, also do some intemediate steps during tests, that output info about beginning, complete resizes, etc.
