pat_monitorComparison() very slow - had to abort R session 

I tried running pat_monitorComparison() on a pat objects covering 3 months.
after minutes of waiting I tried to stop the run, but eventually the only way to solve the situation was to quit R using the Task Manager (Windows). 

I then tried on a single month and it took at least a couple of minutes to get the output. After the plot showed up, R got stuck and I had to close R again.
