+Data copied to Planner and To Do as part of Project for the web task synchronization would be encrypted with Microsoft-managed key (MMK), hence any tenant that plans to change to customer-managed encryption key (CMK) in future, would need to turn off the task synchronization following the steps listed above, else data getting copied to Planner would continue to be encrypted with MMK.
