gfs_gempakmeta occasionally runs out of memory #4087
Description
What is wrong?
The gfs_gempakmeta task has at least twice run into an out of memory error on WCOSS2. (see e.g. #4072 (comment)).
What should have happened?
The job should have enough memory requested to complete.
What machines are impacted?
WCOSS2
What global-workflow hash are you using?
Steps to reproduce
Intermittent. Must run the C96_atm3DVar_extended test case.
