Add an end-use subcategory field to the WaterHeater:HeatPump:PumpedCondenser & WrappedCondenser objects #11559

General Summary

There does not appear to be a way to specify an end-use subcategory for the WaterHeater:HeatPump:PumpedCondenser and WaterHeater:HeatPump:WrappedCondenser objects.

Detailed Description

The WaterHeater:HeatPump:PumpedCondenser and WaterHeater:HeatPump:WrappedCondenser objects require WaterHeater:Mixed and/or WaterHeater:Stratified tank objects, which have end-use fields, but these fields are only populated if the water heater tank object consumes energy (electricity, gas, etc.). When it's used as a tank only, these fields seem to be ignored. I am not sure if the same pattern exists for other required HPWH objects (like fans).

Possible Implementation

I think a solution would be either (1) add end-use subcategory fields for the WaterHeater:HeatPump:PumpedCondenser and WaterHeater:HeatPump:WrappedCondenser objects (would be an IDD change), or (2) utilize the end-use subcategory fields in the required WaterHeater:Mixed and/or WaterHeater:Stratified objects, just make sure the end-use subcategory makes its way to the parent object. Option 2 might be confusing if the same thing applies to other required HPWH objects (like fans).
