Hi everyone,
Validierung_Einzelrotor Lutz.zip
I am attempting to use the OpenFAST V27 model to simulate a multi-rotor configuration coupled with AMR-Wind. Since the existing GitHub repositories for the V27 are somewhat outdated, I have manually updated the input files to be compatible with the latest OpenFAST/AMR-Wind versions. While the simulations run without crashing, the aerodynamic results are unphysical: the power coefficient cp is consistently around 1.3, and the aerodynamic power is significantly over-predicted (e.g., 115 kW instead of the expected 82 kW at 8 m/s).I have already tried adjusting the epsilon parameters, but the overestimation persists. Does anyone have a validated, modern OpenFAST input set for the V27, or an idea why the aerodynamic scaling might be failing so drastically?
Thanks in advance!
I'll add my input files.
