The skipsimulation flag seems extremely useful in not creating the same tests (with and without the flag hardcoded in the tests). Since simulating is more expensive I could define two health check with simulation once per week and without simulation daily,

It would help it the sling health check and jmx exposes that field?

Should I create PR's with the changes I am suggesting?
