Variable Count down timer Enhancement - *** Virtual Fuel Gauge *** #211

@GoogleCodeExporter

Description

@GoogleCodeExporter
Which board (stock / gruvin9x / sky9x / Taranis) are you using?
9XR with M128 chip

What is your openTx FW version?
SVN: opentx-r2834 2013-12-24

What is your openTx EEPROM version?
215-32769

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Timer1 set to TH%
2. Heli Mode idle-up
3. throttle stick down for inverted Heli flight

count down timer dependent on percent of throttle stick; in inverted heli
flight countdown slows to a stop.

What is the expected output?
Percentage Countdown timer should continue at full 1 second unites when
throttle output is at full (even in inverted Heli flight)

What do you see instead? As the throttle stick is moved back for inverted heli
flight the countdown units of time decrease.

Please provide any additional information below.
When choosing variable countdown timer the unit of time decrease/increase
should be dependent on percentage of throttle curve output instead of
percentage of throttle stick movement.

*** Virtual Fuel Gauge ***
This same timer could have display "option" to show percentage of time
remaining instead of actual time remaining.  For instance;
Timer 1 set for 10 minutes. Inverted heli-flight for 5 minutes (just an
example) Timer 1 now shows 50 % Or Half the time of my original 10 minutes (IE
50 percent of my fuel is gone).
Place the same bar graph as the "battery display option" and we will have a
virtual fuel gauge. It will not matter what type of fuel used. Set your Th%
timer to as long as the engine/motor will run at full throttle.

Very nice programming and TX. I ditched my Futaba 9chp for this rock'n 9xr
with openTX. Very good job! Thanks...
