Custom switches Function options: need help/explanation

What is your openTx EEPROM version? don't know

Need some explanation and if possible examples about Functions at Custom 
Switches tab. What are : a~x, a>x, a=b, a!=b etc. 

I did not find anywhere any explanation

As I wrote above, I need some detailed explanation about all those available 
functions. Recently I've downloaded latest (2.xx) version which has much more 
those function.
Can anybody post what all those functions do (each by each)
