Hovering over the word is not bringing up a new window

I have the easysubs extension for Netflix using Chrome. When I hover over a word, it registers the hover bc the word changes colors and the video stops, but no window comes up with the translation and sample words and such. I've tried disabling and re-enabling, closing Chrome and re-opening, but nothing is working. Any suggestions?
