Event Name

Nix Milan - Meetup subscription

Event Website

https://milano.nix.pizza/

Event Purpose

We've successfully organized five day-long meetups and one evening event featuring two talks. Our next event—a full-day meetup—is planned in two weeks.

While we aren't huge fans of Meetup as a platform, we have to acknowledge that it has played a significant role in helping many people discover our community. However, letting our subscription expire would also mean losing access to nearly 100 members who are part of the group.

You can find our Meetup page here: Nix Milano Meetup.

Event Visitors

Non applicable, however usually between 10 and 20 people come

Event Organizer

@aciceri and @albertodvp

Budget amount

149.44 EUR

Budget description

Cover the cost of a Meetup subscription, valid until February 25, 2026.

I’ve followed the template, even though this isn’t exactly a funding request for a specific meetup. If you feel it’s necessary, I can edit the issue, let me know! :)
