[NOT AN ISSUE] Guide regarding compilation

It would be very helpful if the development Team can provide a small guide on how to compile these. As I've trying using cmake and got the kernel Image but it has some issues causing the phone to bootloop.
And the size is almost double the size of stock kernel.

Things apart, it would be helpful for a small guide to compile the kernel from the source and use as boot.img as this is a GKI kernel, there are not much resources at this time to learn from.

@RevealedSoulEven got any success building the kernel? I built, the device boots but after nothing logo it keeps loading. No bootloop

It came to my notice that the official kernel released from google can be used if the version is same as vendor related stuffs are in different image, so I'm currently compiling the official released kernel version and using AnyKernel to flash it. But I couldn't compile this even after trying 3 days, maybe skill issue :(

@RevealedSoulEven I got good luck at this. I compiled in the first attempt. But this repo kernel don't boots properly. Nothing logo appears then the loading animation keeps running forever. So if you want we can talk? In telegram or somewhere because I am new in kernel. (I have zero C/C++ knowledge, I am just a java programmer).
I just want to build the kernel for my nothing phone 🙂

I had similar issues with flashing this kernel. the size was also different from the one already on the phone and when I try to flash it gets stuck in a bootloop. would love some input on the proper way to flash this kernel. after all it's one kernel for one phone it should have at least one proper way to flash.

Yes you can flash the google's official kernel using anykernel3 without bootloop

You guys have to build this kernel with Bazel that is provided by the aosp + also have to apply the modules crc bypass patch for booting the kernel with prebuilt modules
