So finally trying to figure out why I'm getting this code "Sound/OpenAL Error: 40964" I've had it for ever, and prior to NWN EE update I saw this in my logs Error 40964.
I've tried installing OpenAl.exe from there website but that didn't work and found it and Open AL32.dll in this folder also located in C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Neverwinter Nights Enhanced Edition\bin\win32
This Toms Hardware website https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/openal-question-help.1865497/seems indicate that it should be in either the System32 or SysWOW64 folders. I searched those folders and OpelAl32.Dll is in neither folder. I did Find OpenGL32.dll in the System32 folder. So my question is should I just place the OpenAL32.dll in the system32 folder despite when I'm running a Win10 64 bit operating system?

I was able to come up with a NWNEE update/ server combination that doesn't produce the OpenAl error. Client versions 87.8193.35-40 and older in combination with Avlis server version 1.88.8193.36.12 works, but any client version that is newer than .35-40 produces the OpenAl error.

I found this website that and did step 0. https://www.solvusoft.com/en/files/articles/how-to-fix-windows/

Which led me to seeing this pop up in Windows 10 64bit.
